The aim of my website is to share some of the fabulous wildlife sightings that we have been privileged to see whilst on our travels. I hope you enjoy the wildlife photographs and if the preservation of this wonderful planet and all the plants and animals with which we share the Earth is not already high on your agenda; that this site does a small bit to encourage everyone to look after the diverse wildlife of this planet and their habitats.

As ever more natural areas are destroyed along with the animals and plants within those habitats, it is so important that everyone takes the issue of wildlife conservation seriously and we all do our bit to protect the planet!

Thanks for visiting this site!

Having always had a passion for the wild and being outdoors, my interest in wildlife photography took a more serious turn following our first major safari in 2003 when we visited South Africa, Zambia and Botswana. We had been bitten by the 'safari bug' and by the time we ventured to Africa again in 2005 I had purchased an entry level DSLR and a lens that has proved invaluable (Canon 28mm - 300mm).

As many photographers will understand wildlife photography can become a consuming passion; there is always a new camera or lens that one would like to have. At present I am very happy with the Canon 7D and Canon 1D. In terms of lenses I still have my first telephoto lens, along with a prime 600mm and a wide angle lens. Although the 600mm does have issues when flying, these lenses afford me a full range of options for wildlife photography.
